Well, we have joined the new era of bloggers. Not that we plan to blog on a ongoing basis but we thought that it would be fun to update people as we move along on this next journey of our lives. With some of the (limited) travel that we do, we thought that it would be a way of keeping in touch.
A family dinner took place on Sunday with my youngest, Nicole leaving her teenage years behind and moving into true adulthood. With everyone being at the table we all agreed that a dinner should now move from the comforts of Mom & Jack's house to each family member hosting a meal. Adulthood is so much fun and even more so when your mother can come and see the fruits of her labor (no pun intended) and that each person can show off their culinary skills. With much discussion about meal planning everyone agreed that he or she would plan the menu and then advise the group as to what they should bring to compliment the meal. I look forward to sharing in these special times.
Jack and I are planning on going up to Edmonton to visit with my Grandma this coming Saturday. We look forward to our visit with some of the family in Edmonton as well, plus we wanted to see what winter looked like as Calgary has no snow and the robins have returned for the spring conditions that we are experiencing.
Talk to you all soon.
